Woke up today and realized that it’s been exactly two years since I walked across the stage and received my MA in Social Justice and Human Rights. Time flies my friends, time flies. So, what have I learned since graduating from Prescott College or better yet, what have I been doing since graduating?
- Applied for jobs… Got rejected 😦 Learned from rejections and picked up new skills. YAY!
- Started A Blog
- Started writing again and reminiscing about the days I used to write.
- Learned how to DIY
- Made some contacts
- HELPED EXPAND AN ORGANIZATION’S OUTREACH!
I have to say, I’ve done a pretty good job. It’s so weird, one minute I’m in class debating about the Pedagogy of the Oppressed and presenting at the Prison Industrial Conference and now I’m doing ProBono work and writing a blog. I don’t if that is what I saw myself doing two years after graduation, but I must say, I don’t hate it. Hopefully, in the next two years I can sit back and look how far I’ve come.
